Barbara Conner’s designs are unique and timeless, but you have the opportunity to truly make them your own, creating a one-of-a-kind piece. As you can see, you have many choices. Most of Barbara’s designs come with her signature sterling silver charms, but we have a number of others from which you can choose. The vintage medals are one of Barbara's favorite design elements and although most of them are very different, you can make a special request, i.e., a St. Christopher medal, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Several of our necklaces are already priced with vintage medals, but they can be added to all of the necklaces and bracelets as well.

And we want you to have your favorite color for the leather cord, so we have a large variety to choose from. You can also select the length of your necklace. Please contact us to find out about our standard lengths or to make a special request. Please be aware that adding length may increase the price of the item.

Finally, there are the pearls. You’re free to order any design with a different pearl and they can be mixed and matched in beautiful combinations. You can even order an item with larger pearls. The options are too numerous to mention, so if you don’t see pricing for a certain combination of pearls, feel free to call us and we can do a special order. Barbara’s jewelry is designed to allow you to express your individuality and choose the items that speak to you and your personality. Charms

Barbara’s favorite combination of charms is the heart and the cross, but she realizes that may not be yours. We also offer a Star of David, Skull, Peace Sign, Fleur de Lis, and a Texas Longhorn.  If diamonds make your heart beat faster, we have a diamond studded cross.  And a combination of precious gemstones will add sparkle to any Barbara Conner piece.  Choose from a Natural Champagne Diamond, Ruby, Emerald or Sapphire.  Please see our pricing below.

Vintage Medals

One of the many things that make Barbara’s designs unique is her use of vintage spiritual medals. These medals come from a sizable collection that she's accumulated over the years through her travels and at local tag sales and swap meets.  Barbara incorporates them in several of her designs and we’ve indicated on the product descriptions certain other necklaces and bracelets to which they can be added at a cost of  $28 per medal. Our Pearls

We love pearls and we want you to love them, too! So below you’ll find a little information on the pearls we use and why they’re our favorites. Because each pearl has a character all its own, we take the time to hand select the pearls for each piece we make, so they blend together seamlessly.

Freshwater pearls are produced by mussels that live in lakes, ponds, rivers and streams. They are generally milky white in color and come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Freshwater pearls are very durable, resisting chipping and wear and tear.  China has been producing freshwater pearls since 2206 B.C. and remains the world’s leading producer today.

Tahitian or “Black” pearls come from the black-lipped oyster, which lives in the waters off Tahiti and the French Polynesian Islands. These oysters are very large, often 12 inches in diameter and weigh as much as 10 pounds, which accounts for the larger than average size of Tahitian pearls. Tahitian pearls are grey to black in color with green, blue or rose overtones.

The South Sea pearls are the most precious of our pearls and the most expensive. They come from silver-lipped and gold-lipped oysters found in the South Sea between the northern coast of Australia and the southern coast of China. As with the Tahitians, these are larger pearls due to the size of the oysters. The warm waters account for their satiny luster.   The South Seas display more color variations than other varieties of pearls ranging from white, the most typical, to silver and gold.
